Thomas Schledorn follows Alessandro Cacciola as member of the Executive Board of the Andreas Schmid Group

Gersthofen, 8 October 2025. After seven successful years at the helm of the Andreas Schmid Group, Alessandro Cacciola decided to leave the Executive Board of the Andreas Schmid Group due to personal reasons in 2026 to pursue new professional goals. He will subsequently join the Supervisory Board of the Andreas Schmid Group for a transitional period, allowing him to continue contributing his broad expertise and experience to the company’s further development.

Since 2019, Alessandro Cacciola has left a lasting mark on the company: with strategic clarity, entrepreneurial vision, and a strong focus on sustainable growth, he has driven the national and international development of the Andreas Schmid Group. His tenure as CEO stands for progress, stability, and successful transformation.

The Andreas Schmid Group is pleased to welcome Thomas Schledorn as a new member of its Executive Board. Effective January 12, 2026, he will assume operational responsibility within the company.

The 38-year-old logistics expert brings extensive international experience from various leadership positions. After holding roles at DB Schenker – beside others with the responsibility for business development and strategic account development for European road transportation – Thomas Schledorn most recently served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Cargo-Partner, where he managed the integration into the Nippon Express Group and the further development of European land transport operations.

With his strategic foresight, operational strength, and passion for modern logistics solutions, Thomas Schledorn will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the Andreas Schmid Group.
