New Chief Financial Officer at the Andreas Schmid Group
The Andreas Schmid Group has appointed Dr Claudia Ambrosy (45) to its Management Board. As of January 1, 2023 the doctor of business administration will succeed Dr Thomas Jepsen as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Dr Ambrosy has been working for the group since 2013, lastly as Commercial Director.
Dr Ambrosy began her professional career at the auditing company KPMG. Following her position as financial director at an automotive trade holding company, she joined the Andreas Schmid Group in 2013. In her new role as Chief Financial Officer, she is now responsible for all commercial divisions.
“With Dr Ambrosy, we have been able to attract a financial expert and a manager with deep ties to the company to lead the finance department,” said Alfred Kolb, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, to explain the decision. “We are convinced that under her aegis the existing growth trend of the Andreas Schmid Group will also be sustainably ensured in the future.”
With the appointment to the CFO position, Dr Ambrosy is the first woman to take over a board position at Andreas Schmid Group. The Executive Board is completed by Chief Executive Officer Alessandro Cacciola and Chief Digital Officer Dr Matthias Schindler.
